The political exchange is intended to improve messaging and communication between politicians and their constituents. One of the tools available allows an organisation to post an issue on the political exchange with a view to encouraging politicians to comment. The idea to is to post these comments back to local campaigners before they send a message.

Whenever you create an online action for supporters in e-activist, the issue at the core of your campaign can be posted to the political exchange. The feedback and commitments of support posted by politicians can then be downloaded from dashboard and can also be published on the web for your supporters to view.
This is a quick summary of how it works and the product features:
- send a broadcast email from the political exchange to politicians requesting their comments on a specific issue
- politicians click through your email and post their views and comments using dedicated accounts on the political exchange
