political exchange

The political exchange is an online community that connects politicians directly with campaigning organisations and their supporters.

The purpose of the political exchange is to encourage more dialogue and interaction between elected officials, the public, and campaigning organisations.

We are using technology to create opportunities for politicians to express their opinions directly to local voters before local voters click to send a message.  We are using technology to encourage more informed debate.

The political exchange is also being expanded to develop political communities in several countries that allow the campaigning organisations to directly meet with politicians... online.

The political exchange was launched just in time for the UK general election in 2010. Over 1,100 candidates from all parties opened accounts on the platform. Thousands of comments on many issues were posted by candidates which allowed them to get their message across. Campaigning organisations were able to build political support for their policies amongst candidates elected to the next parliament.

This new version of the software not only allows politicians to post their views on client issues, it also gives organisations the ability to directly interact with a wide range of political decision-makers.
