In addition to asking supporters to send a message to decision-makers or add their name to a petition, e-activist 3.0 can be used to host surveys, event registrations, and other online actions.

e-activist allows you to create a range of campaign actions. Your supporters can: email elected representatives and other decision-makers, send e-cards to friends, sign petitions, sign-up for events, join lists, and complete surveys. All of the actions you create can display dynamic content to make the experience more interesting for supporters.
A few of the key features include:

customise web pages viewed by your supporters to reflect your own website brand or campaign brand
- create advocacy actions as flash or javascript widgets to embed in external websites or blogs (supporter data is collected in your e-activist account)
- host data forms (e.g. petitions) on your own website and submit the data to our server for processing
- submit supporter messages to politicians even if they do not publish an email address using the politicians' own web forms (e.g. submitting messages to the Prime Minister using the web form on the Number 10 website)
- display dynamic content like the total number of supporters that have taken the action in their own constituency

- offer supporters the option of sending their email messages to politicians and other decision-makers via email or fax, or downloading a Word or PDF file to send by post
- receive a duplicate email of the emails sent by supporters
- display your own biographical copy for politicians and other decision-makers
- create actions that send a ‘cc’ email to one or several other local politicians or other decision-makers
- send a thank you email to each supporter that takes part in a campaign – these emails (html or plain text) can include a link for supporters to opt-in if they forgot to opt-in when taking part in the action
- upload your own database of political or other contacts as the target database for a campaign (in addition to the political databases that we provide)
- create ‘email a friend’ actions that generate personalised emails from a supporter to friends in html or plain text (emails can include the recipient's name)
- close an action so that supporters are automatically re-directed to another campaign or a static web page
